FUNDRAISING CO-ORDINATOR REQUIRED

We are desperately seeking a Fundraising Co-ordinator to join the team of volunteers.

This will take a lot of pressure off of me (Patsy) to get the funds in, because like all rescues it's going out quicker than coming in this year. Obviously being a Charity we rely on donations which are always gratefully received. :-)

FUNDRAISER AT WAITROSE - RUSHDEN

Patsy and team raised £180 at Waitrose Rushden by helping shoppers pack their bags and having a collection bucket.

Many thanks to all for your contributions

Earlsdon Primary School in Coventry held a Cake Stall for us and raised a massive £159 and I collected the cheque in their morning assembly on Friday 20 th November and I took 2 of my cats (Wilson and Freddie) to meet the children . We'd like to thank them very much.

Swivvel Club raised £277.50 from the door money on Their Soul Night and (one of my cats)and I collected the cheque from them. Many Thanks to them.

Animals in Need Open Day

A Lovely day had by all.
The weather was very kind and it was great catching up with everybody again. We raised £108.80

Animals in Need has come a long way and it was fantasic to see how well Roy Annette and their team have done in building the place from scratch. We were all very impressed with the new kennel block and runs, new cattery block, the goat, duck and chicken compounds and also the hospital which is to open today Monday 7th September. We wish them Good Luck and carry on the fantastic work.

May 2009 heralded the arrival of our very own 'Animal Ambulance' kindly donated by The Jean Sainsbury Animal Welfare Trust . This will be a great help to the Rescue team and we can't thank them enough .

We attended a 'Car Boot Sale' Sat 26th April 09 and raised £98.98 towards the rescues funds :-)
